What the tools do

GTIN and EPC calculations, URL parsing and QR generation run in your browser. We do not upload input values, open pasted URLs, save an input history or send data to a third-party QR service. Downloads are created locally.

Camera and QR images

The DPP URL checker requests the camera only after you tap Scan QR; it never requests the microphone. Camera frames and selected QR images are decoded on your device, not uploaded or saved as history. Scanning stops after a result, when stopped, when leaving the page or when the page becomes hidden. The decoded URL is treated as text and is not opened or queried against a registry.

Saved tools and sharing

When you save a tool, this browser stores only its tool identifier locally. These preferences are not uploaded or synced between browsers or devices. Remove a tool from “My saved tools” or clear this site’s browser data to delete them. Page sharing and access QR codes contain only the page link, without your inputs or results. Sharing to another app follows that app’s privacy practices.

Website requests and external links

Website files are served from Alibaba Cloud in Hong Kong. Access logs record IP address, time, request method, path, response status and response size for operations and security. The access-log format excludes query parameters, request bodies and referrer headers. Web-server logs are rotated daily with 14 days of retention and are restricted to server administrators. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices.

No advertising analytics

This release has no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, accounts or submission forms. DPPPrint links include the source page category in referral parameters, never your codes or serials. Standard browser caching can still store website assets.
